A year has gone by since I wrote the post titled, On This Day. This post is close to my heart since it's the story of the birth of my second son, Kyler, on April 20, 2006.
As we are about to celebrate his 4th year I'd like to share, with you, the story again. I have always loved reading and hearing birth stories but I especially relate to them since I have two of my own. I hope you enjoy reading one of mine.
Happy Birthday to the big 4 year old!!! I too enjoy hearing birth stories . . . it's MOM THING!!! Keep on blogging Jackie. I love reading your blog! Have a GREAT DAY!
ReplyDeleteI'm ALWAYS up for a baby story! My babies are now 26 and 30! Honestly I don't know how it happened so fast. Savor each and every day you have to love and influence them, as I know you do! Lovely post, glad you ran it again so I could enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Kyler! I love hearing birthday stories, too. I should take the time to write my kids stories down. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday little man....I hope you had a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteJackie thank you for sharing, I love these feel good stories.
........:-) Hugs
Awww, Happy Birthday to Kyler! Loved reading your story from last year about his birth.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had a birthday today and I just posted about it too.

Spring's a great, happy time for a birthday! Your site looks lovely, especially with the yellow bouquets strewn about.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this story; that was sweet. There are 5 years between my two as well and I struggled with ppd after the first but not the second. It really made a world of difference---I experienced feelings similar to those you describe here.

Oh, Jackie, thank you so much for sharing about your little guys entry into the world! I loved reading about it and could totally relate because I delivered both of our children by C-section...the first one not planned, the second one planned. It felt so odd choosing the day our baby would be born.
ReplyDeleteLoved the post!
Happy birthday to Kyler! I do love to read birth stories! I love that black and white photo of him (I think at 7 months?)....he's a handsome guy! And you mean there's kids without alot of energy...that's the only kind I know! :)

THANKS!
Lovely story and photos Jackie - I'm not a mum but I can appreciate the sentiments nonetheless. I was always an anxious aunt at the birth of my sis's children, if that counts!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Kyler!

Jackie as I wrestle with to blog or not to blog I see by your post what is so sweet and special about our blogs. Our journals, our dear to our heart on line diaries and memories. We can all share that special time with you as you are able to remember. I mean how cool and special is that? Happy Birthday Kyler! I know I am late but I get to know and see a little about you because your Mom blogs.
