How are you? I've missed you my Blog Friends! We had a great week off. I didn't have the whole week off...but most of it. We visited with Grandmas, Grandpas, MeMe's, PaPa's, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brothers and many others. We had fun with friends and we spent a lot of time at home too. I believe Spring has finally arrived here in MO. Every day I see more green everywhere I go. Here is a little snapshot of our week...
Beautiful sunset after a heavy downpour...
Walks around campus are becoming more enjoyable with the warmer weather and the blooms are starting to pop out...
I hid LOTS of these this week. The boys participated in several Easter Egg Hunts...Fun Times!
We did lots of running around and not just looking for eggs...
Candy colored Tulips...perfect for Easter...
At the end of the week we looked at our stash and realized that we had lots of yummy candy but also good friends and a great families...We Are Blessed!
I haven't visited you lately and I can't wait to see what's been going on in your lives for the past week. I hope you all had a great Easter!
Oh, and this little post is my 200th.
200...can you believe that? 200 posts means I'm going to have a fun giveaway sometime this week. Stay Tuned...it's really cute!! And speaking of giveaways...I won one recently and I'll be posting a great big Thank You and photos soon!

Jackie, well guess what? I have some green and black as well. (I've been trying to get rid of the green since it was my "old" color scheme: hunter green, burgandy, and navy, but just can't replace everything!)...we decided to go with black accents in the kitchen...drawer pulls, chandelier, etc. Obviously we are meant to be friends! Have a sunny day!

I'd stay and "chat" longer, but I am in the final three days of writing and packaging a major grant proposal...so it is All Grant All the Time for me. I miss my blog, I miss my friends, I miss my life! But I'm glad I caught your 200th!!!

ReplyDeleteOh, you had a lovely Easter week, too! We went to two passover seders. One was at the home of the Baptist pastor in a town north of here. He is Jewish but became a christian later on in life. It was very precious to be a part of their families important celebration. Then, my husband (who had spent two years in Jerusalem between his bachelors degree and Mdiv) hosted a traditional passover meal and service on Maundy Thursday at our church. I had absolutely no idea how to blog about all of that. I guess that it just wasn't public.
ReplyDeleteThe only trouble with this was THREE feasts (and leftovers) - PHEW!
Anyway, "it's beginning to look a lot like Springtime" in your area! Last spring, there were no blossoms on our trees - although, we had some apples. I am very curious to see what happens this year.

I was told in no uncertain terms by two teenagers that if I was to even think about putting an egg down in the yard that it would be the most embarrassing thing ever to occur on this planet in a millenium. So I was glad to have the chance to view yours!
