Christmas is the season for kindling the fire of hospitality in the hall, the genial flame of charity in the heart." ~ Washington Irving (1783-1859), American short-story writer and essayist. |

Sending a sweet hello from Frog Hollow Farm. Your post is the first one I read this morning! It left me feeling cozy and happy! Ciao, bella!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! My daughter isn't coming home this Christmas. I'm debating if I want to put the tree up this year or not. My son won't come out to my place. (he says I live too far out in the sticks) I'm not sure I want to go to the trouble of dragging it all out just for me to look at. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYour header is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'd write more but I'm on turkey overload.
I, too am enjoying a cup of coffee while curled up with my furry kids!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
andrea
What a way to bring in the holiday me and my husband a week ago with buying new decorations and Wednesday we watch A Christmas Carol we are so ready we are enjoying each day of this season, as we bring in the new year.
ReplyDeleteJackie:
ReplyDeleteWonderful! To your book pile, I would add A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and Journey Into Christmas, a collection of Depression-era holiday stories by Bess Streeter Aldrich, a Nebraskan author in the first half of the 20th century.
Don't tell anyBODY but we had our trees up about a week before Thanksgiving. I bought a new tree for The Porch and I had to make sure the lights worked, right? So I also tried your tip on the Pumpkin Spice Latte, three times now! The White Chocolate Mousse is pretty tasty too :)
ReplyDeleteCopeland and in Kenny Copeland? We do have a lot in common! I read your profile. I love it when I find people like us! Not normal...LOL!
ReplyDeleteFollowing you now. Can't wait to get to know each other better.
