Barns have always interested me. I guess it's my rural upbringing and barns have always been part of that. Today, I'm linking up with Bluff Area Daily and joining Barn Charm. The barn I'm bringing you today is on my Aunt's farm in Northeast Missouri. I have always loved this old barn. We lived in a house directly across from it when I was in high school. I have a lot of great memories on their farm and I still feel so at home anytime I'm there. When we were there a couple of weeks ago I also did a little informal photo shoot of all the boy cousins in the tree line behind their house. We all have some cute boys so it turned out pretty nice.

Jackie, I too love barns. We live in amish country so barns are plentiful here as well as working farms. Wonderful pictures and especially of the boys!!

ReplyDeleteI love the shots of the boys.
What a beauty & how cool to have been able to grow up near this old barn... it'd be so much fun to explore!

Thank you very much for joining!!! =)
I like the way the barn is nestled in among the trees.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of the kiddos! I enjoy old barns too. Always wanted to make a coffee table book of them.
ReplyDeleteGald to see you poasting again. But don't feel bad, sometimes I have nothing to say as well.
Love the barn! But.. those boy pictures are absolutely priceless. The b&w you're going to frame = Perfect! Thanks for sharing! -Tammy

ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely barn in the perfect setting. Great shots of the boys. I'd have a hard time picking out which one I'd want to hang--I'd probably end up going with all three!
ReplyDeleteI too love old barns. Something so peaceful about them. Reminds me of simpler times. And those ARE some good lookin' boys there in those pictures!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great barn, and it seems to be 'peeking' out from behind the trees.
ReplyDeleteI was too late to link to mine, but it can be seen at my blog.

Barns are great. I grew up with them and around them and always slow down on a back road when I see a really wonderful old master.
ReplyDeleteAnd the boys were a riot in the "shoot 'em up" picture--recognized every classic pose! :)
I just wanted to drop in and wish ya an amazin' Mother's Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteGod bless ya!
