  1. OMG, I couldn't wait for your blog to load to read about that beautiful baby girl. PRECIOUS

I know what that grandma feels like with boys when finally a girl arrives. I'm shopping now for a baby doll for christmas, will make a quilt, clothes and the list goes on.

Next time you make spagetti for the boys, sick a piece of uncooked spagetti through hot dogs that have been cut into 4 or 5 pieces. Then boil until the spagetti is done. Call it worms and noodles!(I saw it on a blog)

Have a great week, kiss that baby for me.

  5. Dear Miss Marlie Jo! Yes, she will brighten a sad day in our country. Her loving family will see to that. One of the daughters of my best friend, was born on Sept. 11 also, but 30 years ago now.

And oh Grandma, I know how thrilled she must have been, to have a Grand Daughter! I was so lucky, to have one, "right off the bat." :-) Of course boys are wonnnnnnderful! But there's just something about pink and hair bows and wee little Mary Jane's and.... :-)

You have a Fall Tree! Oh I want one! Is it a particular tree for only Fall? We only have the one artificial Christmas Tree and I don't think my husband likes the idea of bringing it in, already. And decking it out with Autumn decorations. But I think yours is precious.

Perhaps if I had a smaller version of artificial tree, just for this... But then, ever since the Recession hit, I've been in non-buying-mode, and I'd have to break that, to get a special tree... Oh well, enjoy yours. :-)

  9. What a precious little baby. My family went crazy when my first child was born because it was the first boy in a family of all girls! Love the idea of an autumn tree.
