Coffee On The Patio...

Most mornings, time permitting, I sit on my back patio with coffee, journal, bible and sometimes my camera.  After the passing of my Mother-in-Law yesterday and the anxiety about the upcoming funeral, I decided I needed to focus on something else...at least for awhile.  I turned my focus to what I could see through the camera lens from my chair on the patio.  My hour or so outside this morning was healing.

Sometimes you need to see some beauty through all the sadness.

To get through this dificult time be sure to be good to yourself and grieve when the need arises without worry to what other people think. Just breathe and remember the good times. :)

  8. What a precious precious post, Jackie. I know that there have been so many times in my own life when I was hurting that it was the beauty of His creation that He used as a healing balm. There will come a day that you will look back at this particular post...or see similar scenes as you've captured on camera in this post...and realize the standard that He used that day to begin the healing of grief...and realize just how far HE's brought you. Gentle hugs to you, Jackie. Praying for you.

  9. Jackie, what a sweet sweet post during this difficult time for you. I can look back at times in my own life and remember how during hurtful times He has used His creation as a healing balm. This particular post will no doubt be used time and time again by Him as a standard whereby you can look back and see how far HE's brought you in the healing of your grief.
Praying for you and your family, Friend.
